Why it matters

Strong companies are built by strong people practices, long before they need a full HR team.

The way you hire, set expectations, handle difficult conversations and reward good work decides who joins, who stays and how fast you can grow. Get it right early and it compounds. Get it wrong and the cost shows up as lost talent, slow hiring and disputes that consume the leadership team.

  • Keep the people you hiredClear roles, fair pay and good managers are what hold a team together through growth.
  • Stay ahead of the riskSound contracts and consistent processes prevent problems, and make the ones that do arise far cheaper to resolve.
  • Give leadership time backFounders and managers stop spending evenings on people issues that an expert can handle in an hour.
